The two principals held a <em>t\u00eate<\/em>&#8211;<em>\u00e0-t\u00eate <\/em>before witnessing the signing\u00a0of\u00a0Bilateral Agreements in the Economic, Political and Social sectors.<\/p>\n<p>His Majesty the King of Morocco was accompanied by a delegation of high ranking Royal officials and members of the Morocco private sector who are interested in exploring investment opportunities and partnerships available in Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rwandan and Moroccan officials signed various significant agreements that included General Cooperation Agreement (GCA), MOU on Political Consultation Mechanism, Air Service Agreement, Agreement on exemption of Visa, Agreement on Security Cooperation and tourism. Officials from both sides also signed agreement related to launch the \u201cAfrica Mutual Growth\u201d investment fund, Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of investments, Partnership for the development and the promotion of Economic Zones in Rwanda, establishment of the African Institute of Technology (AIT), establish a bilateral council between PSF and the Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), among others.<\/p>\n<p>President Kagame hosted His Majesty and his delegation to a State Lunch at the Kigali Conference Center.<\/p>\n<p>The visit by\u00a0His Majesty King Mohammed VI\u00a0comes after President Kagame\u2019s\u00a0two-day official\u00a0visit to Morocco in June this year,\u00a0where he was decorated by His Majesty the King with the Grand Collar of Wissam Al-Mohammadi, Morocco&#8217;s highest national Award of Honour, before hosting him to an official &#8220;Iftar&#8221; in observance of the holy month of Ramadhan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Kigali, 19 October 2016 President Kagame today at Urugwiro Village received His Majesty Mohammed VI, the King of Morocco,\u00a0who arrived in Rwanda yesterday for a State Visit.
