The commissioning event was also attended by Ministers of Energy of the Northern Corridor countries of Kenya, Uganda, and South Sudan.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing more than 2000 residents of Muhanga and Ngororero who gathered to welcome him, President Kagame underscored the importance of electricity in the pursuit of the country\u2019s development aspirations:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe will do all we can to ensure access to electricity for all homes, schools, hospitals and industries. Our goal is to make sure that every Rwandan wherever they may live benefit from the progress\u00a0Rwanda is making To increase access to electricity, exploiting natural sources of energy and increasing regional integration will be key.
