Hirotaka Ishihara, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the group, President Kagame encouraged increased investment and partnership between Japan and Rwanda:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cJapan should not be shy about investing in Africa. There are opportunities for both sides to benefit. The capacity for partnership has not been exploited fully.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of their visit is to identify business and investment opportunities in Rwanda and establish mutually beneficial business relationship with the Government of Rwanda and Rwanda Private Sector.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>13 major Japanese companies are part of the mission; comprise of Itochu Corporation; Sumitomo Corporation; Sojitz Corporation; Mitsui and Co.
