The delegation which also included architects and engineers was in the country on a mission to finalise plans to start the Central Africa School of Excellence in Rwanda, in partnership with the Government.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the press after meeting President Kagame, Mike O\u2019Neal said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOklahoma Christian University has had a great relationship with this country and its leadership. When Greater Atlanta was looking for an African nation that is receptive to education to partner with, they found a flourishing relationship with the university and took it up from there. We are so pleased that this is happening.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">The Minister of education, Dr. Vincent Biruta said it was a good thing that such a school is going to be built in Rwanda because it would boost the quality of education not only for Rwanda but the entire region:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">\u201cWith their experience, capacities and expertise in education, we expect high quality education that will benefit students from Rwanda and the region.\u201d <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kigali, 15 January 2013 President Kagame today received a delegation from the Greater Atlanta Christian School, led by Mike O\u2019Neal, former president of Oklahoma Christian University.
