Allow me to commend Kenya for completing the peer review process.<\/p>\n<p>This demonstrates, once again, the relevance of the African Peer Review Mechanism, as a tool to support each other to improve governance and economic opportunity on our continent.<\/p>\n<p>The report\u2019s analysis of the vibrancy and potential of Kenya\u2019s pharmaceutical industry is particularly interesting, given the African Union\u2019s growing focus on pandemic resilience and domestic health financing.<\/p>\n<p>I thank the APRM Secretariat, led by Professor Maloka, as well as the Panel of Eminent Persons, for the careful work that has gone into these reviews.<\/p>\n<p>Let me also take this opportunity and moment to congratulate President Uhuru Kenyatta, as he concludes his mandate.<\/p>\n<p>Dear brother, thank you for your distinguished service, not only to Kenya, but also to East Africa and Africa as a whole.
