{"id":13104,"date":"2018-07-20T11:52:44","date_gmt":"2018-07-20T11:52:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/paulkagame.com\/?p=13104"},"modified":"2018-07-21T06:57:46","modified_gmt":"2018-07-21T06:57:46","slug":"president-kagame-holds-bilateral-talks-with-president-filipe-nyusi-of-mozambique","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paulkagame.rw\/2025\/?p=13104","title":{"rendered":"President Kagame holds bilateral talks with President Filipe Nyusi of Mozambique"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>Kigali, 20 July 2018<\/p>\n<p>President Kagame today held a t\u00eate-\u00e0-t\u00eate and bilateral talks with President Filipe Nyusi of Mozambique who is on a three-day State Visit to Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing a joint press conference after their talks, the two leaders highlighted that they have had productive bilateral discussions touching on matters of regional and continental integration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a pleasure to have President Nyusi here, many things are going to happen between our two countries going forward,\u201d President Kagame said.<\/p>\n<p>The President added that as countries progress, they have to work in unison with others so that they might not develop in isolation.<\/p>\n<p>In his remarks, President Nyusi pointed out that what is important for the two nations is to un-tap resources and use them for the benefits of citizens.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are not afraid of foreign interferences, but we need to cooperate with everybody on a basis of mutual advantage and benefit,\u201d President Nyusi said.<\/p>\n<p>The two countries signed five bilateral agreements including a Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Joint Permanent Commission; an Agreement on Exemption of Visa Requirements for Diplomatic and Service Passports holders; Bilateral Air Service Agreement; a Memorandum of Understanding on Science and Technology, Higher Education and Professional Training; and a Memorandum of Understanding between the Rwanda Development Board and the Investment and Export Promotion Agency (APEX) of Mozambique.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kigali, 20 July 2018 President Kagame today held a t\u00eate-\u00e0-t\u00eate and bilateral talks with President Filipe Nyusi of Mozambique who is on a three-day State Visit to Rwanda.
